  1. Can’t wait to read this! My parents homesteaded in Alaska in the late fifty’s with four small children and another one born there. I have all my mom’s letters she wrote to my aunt and lots of other papers and memorabilia. Even though I was only 4 when we began the journey and 9 when we returned, I remember so much and would like to put it all together in a book one day. Thanks for your inspiration!

  3. What a great concept for a book! Since an incident with my grandparents, I have thgouth about different ways to explore and/or share stories from the World War II generation.   5. My fourteen year old daughter is very much into this kind of book. She wrote down the title so she can find it and read it. I think I will read it as well.
