Can’t wait to read this! My parents homesteaded in Alaska in the late fifty’s with four small children and another one born there. I have all my mom’s letters she wrote to my aunt and lots of other papers and memorabilia. Even though I was only 4 when we began the journey and 9 when we returned, I remember so much and would like to put it all together in a book one day. Thanks for your inspiration!

Wow! What an amazing story! That is truly incredible–stories and photos from the past continue to turn up–at the most unexpected moments!
My fourteen year old daughter is very much into this kind of book. She wrote down the title so she can find it and read it. I think I will read it as well.
